I think that in general the quality of these seminars may be better in the US. I always hear of interesting happenings going on there. Hopefully I can attend one of the major ones sometime. I'm sure there are some better ones in this area too. You are right. These seminars are good for getting new connections and networking which is a skill that in my case definitely needs some improvement! Thanks for your comment Christoph. Three years ago I went to a larger (200ish) 2 day conference here in Houston which was organized by Derek Gehl's company. I was actually amazed how little selling it involved - instead they really provided lots of content. Sure, at the end they offered an expensive coaching program but it was always positioned it as a short-cut - not as a "must have". Definitively an excellent event! Just a month ago I went to a smaller conference in Miami - organized by Brian McElroy - and it was AWESOME! We were 25 people of which 5 were very well known marketers (i.e. Chaunna & Justin Brooke showed up as a surprise) - all known for a no hype approach. More valuable than the information are the personal connections you can take away from these events! So, call my lucky but my experience was as positive as it can get :-) Hope you will give it another try! For that reason I will also start to give workshops on how to achieve success online, initially more focussed on small businesses and perhaps later in the 'make money online' niche.
